How do I copy and paste content into another document?

If you want to copy text from and paste it into a word-processing document, simply select the text and enter either Ctrl + C (Windows) or Cmd + C (Mac) to copy the text to your operating system’s clipboard. In your word-processing document, place the cursor where you want the text to go, and enter either Ctrl + V (Windows) or Cmd + V (Mac) to paste the text into the document.
